Our Story
Makayla and Domenic met at the beginning of their sophomore year of college through mutual friends. They soon discovered their shared interests in science and in each other’s intelligent minds. Even through the difficulties of college, sports, distance, and constantly changing career paths, their obsession with one another only grew. After graduating college Domenic and Makayla moved to Florida, where they both work and live with their dog, Bentley, and Makayla continues to pursue her PhD in chemical engineering to become an influential woman in STEM. While marriage was something the two of them had already planned, their engagement was no less special and full of smiles and tears. The chapter in their story that seemed so many pages ahead when they would dream about it years ago is finally here, and it is a chapter the two of them cannot wait to read… Together.
